FergaOS helps schools manage academic and administrative work. This policy explains how FergaOS collects, uses, stores and protects information when a school, staff member, parent or student uses our website or services.
2. Information we collect
Schools may provide account details, contact information, student and staff records, attendance, homework, exam results, fee records and messages. We also collect basic technical information such as device, browser and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide school features, authenticate users, send requested notifications, provide support, maintain security, improve reliability and meet legal obligations. We do not sell student or school information.
4. Schools are responsible for access
Schools control who may access their workspace and remain responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate permissions for the information they enter. Users should keep login details private and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
5. Sharing and retention
We share information only with service providers that help us host, secure and deliver FergaOS, or when required by law. We retain information for as long as the school account is active and as needed for legitimate business, security and legal purposes. Schools may contact us to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
